What are enzyme cleaners?
Enzyme cleaners are cleaning agents that contain enzymes to break down organic soils and eliminate odors. These stain and odor removers , or odor neutralizers , are often based on biological processes.
However, not all enzyme cleaners are created equal; there are significant differences between the various products on the market. Enzyme cleaners based on microorganisms that produce enzymes are particularly effective at eliminating odors and stains caused by organic substances such as urine, vomit, blood, grease, or food residue. Among the most well-known are enzyme cleaners for cat urine . Enzyme cleaners for dog urine are also popular among dog owners.
Bactador enzyme cleaner
Conventional enzyme cleaners contain artificial or synthetic enzymes developed for specific cleaning tasks. However, they lack microorganisms in the form of beneficial bacteria.
Although Bactador can be classified as an enzyme cleaner, it is much more than a conventional enzyme cleaner. Bactador does not contain any artificially or synthetically produced enzymes. When Bactador is applied to a soiled surface (e.g., mattress, blanket, dog bed, or carpet), the probiotic microorganisms of the Bactador microbiology become active. These microorganisms produce enzymes during their metabolism that break down the dirt and odor particles. This process continues until the dirt is removed deep into the pores, permanently removing the source of the odors.
Thanks to its unique diversity of bacteria and enzymes, Bactador is extremely versatile. Each enzyme functions like a tool, specializing in a specific type of dirt or odor.
What are enzymes?
Enzymes are proteins. In enzyme cleaners, they are used to improve cleaning efficiency and remove organic contaminants in a biological and sustainable manner.
Conventional enzyme cleaners usually use specific enzymes that are artificially or synthetically produced. Each enzyme is targeted at a specific type of substrate (the substance to be removed). This allows conventional enzyme cleaners to specifically target specific types of soiling.
Bactador's microbiology relies on enzymes produced by the probiotic microorganisms it contains. This allows a wide range of unpleasant odors and stains to be permanently removed. Bactador uses a unique selection of Class 1 microorganisms to achieve this.
What are microorganisms?
Microorganisms are tiny living organisms, especially bacteria, and play an important role in microbiological cleaning with enzymes. Microorganisms help eliminate stubborn stains and odors caused by organic contaminants.
The Class 1 microorganisms in our Bactador enzyme cleaners are specially selected and capable of digesting various types of organic materials. These organisms produce enzymes as part of their metabolism, and these enzymes then assist in the breakdown of organic compounds. The combination of microorganisms and enzymes makes Bactador particularly effective at removing stubborn stains and odors.
